    LIVE IN CONCERT: TOURING, FESTIVALS AND SUCCESS ON THE ROAD - Moderator: Logan Rogers (Lightning Rod Records) with Ashley Capps (Bonnaroo), Brad First (SXSW), Grace Potter (artist) and Charlie Walker (C3).

    Music festivals have exploded in popularity over the past few years, and Americana artists have exposed large numbers of new fans to their music at events such as Bonnaroo, the Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Festival, and Stagecoach. A group of touring industry professionals will discuss the business of putting on a festival, finding appropriate talent, and the future of the industry. Also, the panel will include a touring artist who will discuss the ins and outs of performing at music festivals.

    By day, the 9th annual Americana Music Conference features numerous panels, seminars, a trade show, and much more. This special event covers the interests and needs of artists, managers, labels, radio stations, publishers, agents, promoters, retailers, performing rights organizations, legal and business affairs executives, tour-related services, merchandisers, new media and all related allied professionals.
