In a spectrum ranging from acoustic driven roots-rock with bluegrass and country influences to aggressive rock, stateliner positions itself somewhere in the middle. stateliner is a composite of five like-minded individuals from different places. Donny Davidson (vocals), Brandon Epps (guitar/background vocals), Sam Martin (bass/background vocals), Chris Wood (keyboards) and Steve Wolfe (drums/percussion) organized in September of 2005 in Nashville, Tenn. with a sound that is difficult to define but has found its greatest similarity in roots rock.
