Women in Christian Media presents dinner and program for Patriot's Day, celebrating and praying for those who serve. The featured speaker is Sara Horn, who is an award-winning writer who twice traveled to the Middle East to document stories of Christians in the midst of the Iraq War for her first book, 2005 Gold Medallion nominee A Greater Freedom: Stories of Faith from Operation Iraqi Freedom that she wrote with best-selling author Oliver North.

Two years later her professional life intertwined with her personal life when her husband, a Navy reservist, left in 2007 for his first deployment to Iraq. Sara started Wives of Faith, www.WivesOfFaith.org, a national military wives support organization, at the end of 2006. Sara continues to write, currently serving as the collaborator for best-selling author Ruth Graham's Fear Not Tomorrow God is Already There. She is also working on a new book for the spouses of reservists and National Guard. Weekend Warrior No More will be released by Potomac in 2009.

Her topic for the evening is "Patriot's Day, Celebrating and Praying for Those Who Serve".
