Come to the Customs House Museum for Free Family fun all day on Saturday, October 25. You won’t need a pair of jogging shoes for this workout, but you will need to put on your “thinking cap.” We’ll be exercising our brains in the Kimbrough Gallery with “Brain Teasers 2,” an exhibit from the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry.

“Brain Teasers 2” offers 20 challenging puzzles for all ages. This exhibit will sharpen your problem-solving skills and provide plenty of fun. At one station you will be needed to help a farmer transport a fox, a chicken, and a bag of grain across a river without any casualties. But that’s not all. There will be board games and jigsaw puzzles to do at your leisure. We’ll even show you how to make your own puzzles.

For those of you who would like to “warm up your brain,” we’ll take a walking tour of downtown Clarksville from 10:30am – 11:15am. Although Family Days are designed to provide learning fun for kids and their grown-ups, adults don’t have to bring a kid to have a good time.

Helpful Information: Children under age 14 must be accompanied by an adult at all times and in all areas of the Museum. Free parking for Museum visitors is available behind the Museum at the top of the hill off South Second Street. Sundays are free for everyone!
