Christmas for Kids, Inc. is a state chartered, nonprofit organization that is made up of professional drivers, their families and hundreds of volunteers. It's mission is to make Christmas a happy and joyful time for children in the community.  After a year of fundraising, Christmas for Kids, Inc. organizes a two-day annual event that includes the Christmas for Kids concert and an opportunity for the public to tour the buses of some of their favorite country music stars. The bus companies and artists lend their buses to the drivers and many even furnish the fuel.

I enjoyed the show last night and think that Steve, Chris, Alan and the kids put on a good show. My apologies to Jon Anderson, but if you closed your eyes you couldn't tell the difference. While Steve and Chris are showing their age, in more ways than one, if I'm doing things half as well at that age I'll be happy. It was a great evening and I could have listened to them for much longer. Collapse

All I can say, if you can make it to one of kd's performance, you will not be sorry. The range of her voice is unbelievable. The band is so very talented and her sense of humor is so FUNNY.

I went to the show, and immediately after the first few songs, was asking my date where Ray would be playing during his next concert, so to make plans to go see him again. It was just the beginning of the show and I just couldn't get enough of the beautiful music and lyrics. Ray's music is so humble and honest. And that voice is something you should experience live. I'm pretty much a big fan and you should be too. I've not been to many shows at the Ryman, but for the price, you get more than what you pay for and the sound and lighting is amazing as well! Being at the Ryman and hearing Boz Scaggs was fantasic. There are not many singers around today who are as orginal and sound as great as the one and only Boz. He put on a great show and his voice was smooth as ever. I only wish he would have done We're All Along and Break Down Dead Ahead. My husband and I dated and fell in love to his music more then 20 years ago and it was a great experience to see him preform live. We drove 6 hours to catch his show and it was even better then I thought it would be. I only wish we could have met him. I hope to catch him when he comes around again. Collapse

What a great performance on Sept.14 at the Ryman Auditorium. The band was very tight and I believe the highlights were Ms. Sun and Somebody Loan Me A Dime. If he comes to your town, GO!

I have a lot of respect for Eddie Izzard, his insights and comedy are fun and not the typical stand up. He is a brave guy. Last night in Nashville he was mediocre. He is adorable to look at, but he seemed to resent the fact he was there, and it was clear he was laughing at us. I also was surprised at how loyal his audience was to him thru the whole thing. I would like to see him in NYC, bet he brings his A game there. Collapse
