Put on your costume and head to the Tennessee State Museum's annual Haunted Museum. Join us for a FREE afternoon of family fun, as the museum hosts its annual ghost story festival with prizes, crafts, refreshments and a ghost walk.

At stops along the ghost trail, there will be chilling ghost stories from Tennessee's past, including those of the Bell Witch and the Cherokee legend, Spearfinger. The trail ends at the tall tales stage where professional storytellers will tell stories about Tennessee. Diana Hague, a storyteller for almost a decade, returns to the Haunted Museum for her second year. Hague, the founder of the BoroTellers, Murfreesboro’s storytelling guild, has captivated audiences with her folktales and stories based on historical happenings and local legend.

Helpful Information: Haunted Museum visitors may park for free in the state employee parking lots located to the north and west of the State Capitol.
