See the show that made country music famous. The unique art form we call country music owes its phenomenal rise in popularity to a live show that began more than 80 years ago called the Grand Ole Opry. The tradition is stronger than ever today, as several times a week the Opry presents a live show with an ever-changing mix of famous and soon-to-be-famous talent sharing the stage. At the Opry, you can count on things happening you just can't see anywhere else.

Scheduled to perform on Friday 10/17 are: John Conlee, Connie Smith, Sarah Buxton, Little Jimmy Dickens, The Whites, Andy Griggs, Jean Shepard, Billy Dean, Del McCoury Band, Mike Snider, Stonewall Jackson, Jimmy C. Newman and Heidi Newfield.

Schedule Changes: The lineup for each Grand Ole Opry show is not completely finished until just a few days before the show, so it is not possible to post the schedule far in advance. Artists are posted to the Opry website as soon as appearances are confirmed (artists and schedule subject to change). Plan to check back often, as most times artists' appearances are not confirmed until one to two weeks prior to the show date (or even a day before.)
