This is the inaugural Bowie "Boo" 5K Trail Run/Walk sponsored by the City of Fairview to benefit United Way of Williamson County. Bowie Nature Park contains 722 acres of forest, lakes and trails. Participants may pre-register through Thursday, October 23 or at Bowie Nature Park the day of the run, from 6:30am - 7:30am. An awards ceremony is at 9:15am after the run. The running surface for this 5K is a hard-packed dirt park trail. Runners may encounter loose rocks, pinecones, ruts or other natural obstacles. No stroller or dogs are permitted on the trail.
