    Friday, May 29: DINE WITH SOME OF THE SOUTH'S GREATEST CHEFS at the Grand Dinner and Whole Hog Barbecue at Historic Carnton Mansion. Enjoy music, spirits and more!

    Saturday, May 30: SAMPLE THE VERY BEST FROM THE WILD AND WONDERFUL WORLD OF Q! Renowned chefs like Ed Mitchell, Chris Lilly, Tony Story, Andy Marshall, Drew Robinson, Patrick Martin and more will coax flame and command smoke to deliver a tantalizing tour that winds from whole hog to brisket quesadillas to red neck tacos. Area vendors will offer locally-famous sides for the hungry: Bolton’s hot fish, Loveless Café’s chicken and biscuits, Mrs. Armstrong's fried pies, and more.

    The festival will feature smart talkin’ as well as good eatin.’ Make biscuits with Belinda Ellis of White Lily. Talk sweet tea and grilling with author Fred Thompson. Learn about meat-n-threes with John Egerton. Meet Carol Fay the bisquit lady. There will even be a screening of food-based documentaries, highlighting the Nashville-area tradition of fried pies and hot chicken, and interviews with the locals who make Middle Tennessee’s favorite foods.
