Jason Wright comes to Davis Kidd to read and sign his recent books. The Wednesday Letters tells the intertwined stories of siblings brought together to arrange their father’s funeral. When they discover mysterious boxes of letters, they find the epic tale of their parents’ love—told through the letters their father wrote to their mother each week, on Wednesday. In Recovering Charles, young photojournalist Luke Millward watches the footage of Hurricane Katrina from the oversized leather couch in his Manhattan apartment. Luke's estranged father Charlie also watched the scene unfold, but the longsuffering musician and alcoholic saw it from the roof of his tiny New Orleans home. Weeks later, he’s still unaccounted for.
