Add Review/CommentThe International Entertainment Buyers Association is thrilled to announce Joe Piscopo as the host for this year’s Honors Dinner held on the final evening of the conference scheduled for October 12-14 at the Hilton Suites in downtown Nashville.
For almost 20 years, Joe has proven to be one of show business’s greatest lights winning the acclaim and respect of millions. From his start as a disc jockey and a dinner-theater performer, to a 5 year side-splitting run with Saturday Night Live, to his countless number of commended film and television roles and a brilliant stretch on Broadway, Joe has continued to wow his audience with an effortless talent that few can live up to.
On the closing evening of the conference, IEBA pays tribute to the trailblazers of entertainment at our IEBA Honors dinner. We salute those that have shaped where we are and those that continue to reinvent the entertainment industry. Past honorees have included: ZZ Top, Ronnie Milsap, Patti Page, Loretta Lynn, Lou Rawls, Brenda Lee, Cheap Trick, Alice Cooper, Wayne Newton, Barbara Mandrell, Styx, Porter Wagoner, LeAnn Rimes and numerous others.
IEBA is attended by over 500 talent buyers, promoters, agents, managers, media, artists, producers and other related professionals and offers a first look at the hottest talent for the next buying season through showcases from top artists and rising stars. All showcases are produced by the major talent agencies. Attendees will see an unprecedented amount of live talent showcases during the convention being held at the Hilton Nashville Downtown, as well as, some of Music City’s famed clubs.
IEBA was founded in 1970 as a non-profit trade organization for talent buyers, concert promoters, agents, managers, artists and other related entertainment professionals. Our goal is to provide educational and networking opportunities to our members to further the development of the live entertainment industry. In addition, IEBA is known for showcasing the best and brightest talent in all genres of music and all fields of entertainment—exposing buyers to the freshest acts for the buying season.
