An Evening with Mark Germino. Mark Germino. What can be said about Germino that hasn’t already been said? Talented? Yes. Poet? Yes. Eloquent? Yes. Amazing songwriter? Absolutely. You may recognize a few of his songs: God Ain’t Know Stained Glass Window (Johnny Cash), I Will Stand (Kenny Chesney), Broken Man’s Lament (Emmylou Harris), Ace Up Your Pretty Sleeve (Vince Gill) and more. He’s been in bands (Mark Germino and The Sluggers), he’s toured the world, he’s been a solo artist. No matter what he’s been, where he’s been or what he’s been doing, he’s always been a talented songwriter and poet. And what better way for Germino’s talents to be showcased than in The Bluebird’s intimate setting here in Music City, TN? In a town full of talented songwriters, Germino is a standout.
