Tarryn Smith grew up in a small town in Indiana, singing in churches, banquets, and local functions with her sister and mother. After going to college at Indiana University for two years and travelling with the Singing Hoosiers, she moved to Nashville to attend Belmont University for the music business program. It was during those years that she really started focusing on playing guitar and songwriting and fell in love with the whole creative process. She remained in Nashville and worked in music publishing and artist managment on the business side while songwriting and playing out at clubs and restaurants in the evenings. Currently she enjoys writing, recording, performing, and singing demos full time. In addition to guitar she plays mandolin and piano. Off-the-menu dinner will be served.
