Join Carolyn Martin and the Coffee Creek Cowboys at the world famous Nashville Palace beginning on November 26th for Western Swing Wednesdays, an evening of jazz, blues and western swing that will take place each and every Wednesday.

From the very beginning, western swing was dance music. Born in Texas in the 1930’s as an eclectic blend of big band and string band music along with jazz, blues, show tunes, cowboy songs and Dixieland – mixed with the ethnic sounds of Czech, Scottish, Irish, German and Hispanic culture, Western Swing became a definitive part of Texas – and American – music. The Nashville Palace’s large dance floor makes it the ideal venue for dancers as well as for listeners.

Carolyn Martin was named the 2008 Western Swing Female Vocalist of the Year by the Academy of Western Artists and is also a member of the Grammy nominated Time Jumpers.
