    The Nutcracker gets glittering new costumes, sets and story line incorporating figures and events from Tennessee history in a spectacular, all-new production of the holiday classic by Nashville Ballet. Join ballerinas in sparkly tutus at a series of special storytimes during November at various branch libraries, reading the Ballet's version of the traditional story with audience participation and movement, followed by a "Design Your Own Sugar Plum Fairy" coloring contest. Listen, dance, get creative and celebrate the season!

        I saw this film about two months ago, and it's changed my outlook on energy. Better than some inspired pieces, this film spends significant time focusing on energy solutions, not just problems, that you can implement on a daily basis. For policy buffs, you'll develop a newly-informed negative reaction to nuclear energy as a viable solution to the energy landscape. For Nashvillians, you'll catch Jeff's NES bills plummeting as local Jeff Barrie is one of our own. Jeff's entertaining and provocative piece does us all proud. Collapse
