    Volunteers and park employees will work to remove modern fencing, trash and invasive exotic plants from recently acquired property at the McFadden Farm Unit. Registration will begin at 8:30am at the Tour Stop #6 parking lot. Project coordinator Jim Lewis will give a brief talk focusing on the historical significance of the property before we begin. Volunteers should wear work clothes and bring work gloves. The National Park Service will provide lunch at The first fifty registered adult participants will receive commemorative t-shirts provided by the Civil War Preservation Trust. Tour Stop #6 of Stones River National Battlefield is located at the end of Van Cleve Lane off of Broad Street north of the Thompson Lane Intersection.
