Lipscomb University will host a Christmas concert featuring the A Cappella Singers and the University Concert Band at Collins Alumni Auditorium. A stage full of musicians will offer a great night of holiday music, including "Cantemus" by Lajos Bardos, "Ave Maria" by Jacques Arcadelt, "Jingle Bells" arranged by Gordon Langford, "While by my Sheep" arranged by Hugo Jungst and "Psalm 23" by Franz Schubert. The performing solo quartet includes Mallory Broadfoot, Katherine Kirby, Rich Smith and Ryan Waters with Anna Horne accompanying on piano.

The A Cappella Singers have been a feature of the Lipscomb University Department of Music since 1960 and have performed in 39 states and eleven foreign countries, in venues ranging from the Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris to a small church building in rural Alabama. The A Cappella Singers perform a broad range of choral music, incorporating music from all periods including sacred and secular works. The Lipscomb University Concert Band, a wind ensemble under the direction of Dr. Stephen Rhodes, is dedicated to performing high-quality music ranging from old favorites to the avant-garde.
