Add Review/CommentFor the fourth consecutive year, the stars of country music and NASCAR will converge on Music City for Sprint Sound & Speed presented by SunTrust. The two-day festival will once again give fans of racing and country music the opportunity to get up-close and personal with drivers, team owners and top-name musicians for autographs, story-telling and question-and-answer sessions. The blockbuster event will also feature show car and sponsor displays, as well as a charitable auction with memorabilia from the racing and entertainment industries. Click here for complete schedule.
Featured NASCAR drivers appearing include: Dale Earnhardt, Jr. (No. 88 Hendrick Motorsports Chevrolet), Michael Waltrip (No. 55 Michael Waltrip Racing Toyota), Kyle Petty (No. 45 Petty Enterprises Dodge), Ray Evernham (Gillette Evernham Motorsports team owner), Reed Sorensen (No. 10 Gillette Evernham Motorsports entry), Jamie McMurray (No. 26 Roush Fenway Racing Ford) and David Stremme (No. 12 Penske Racing Dodge). Sports prototype road racing stars Wayne Taylor (three-time champion and owner of the SunTrust Racing team in the Grand-Am Rolex Sports Car Series), Max Angelelli and Brian Frisselle (codrivers of the No. 10 SunTrust Racing Ford Dallara) also are part of the lineup.
Country music celebrities scheduled to participate are Josh Turner, Jason Michael Carroll, Richie McDonald, members of Diamond Rio and newcomer Rick Huckaby.
Please note: The Saturday Fan Festival will be held at the Municipal Auditorium. The Friday night concert will be held at the Sommet Center. Click here for concert information.
