The Nashville Ballet hosts a special storytime this morning. Join us for the story of The Nutcracker and meet the Sugar Plum Fairy! Nashville Ballet's grand, all-new Nutcracker charmingly recreates this beloved holiday entertainment in 1897 Nashville, when the Parthenon was just erected and cotton candy was becoming all the rage! The entire family will want to enjoy this delightful new rendition of the world's most popular ballet, complete with mice and toy soldiers come-to-life, the menacing Rat King, the heroic Nutcracker Prince, innocent young Clara and the dozens of fantastic characters who carry her through a fantasy of snow and ice, grandiose gardens, and a magical land of sweets and treats.

Scott Hamilton brings his personal experiences, triumphs & trials to a really uplifting & inspiring new book. He tells how he's put these 8 principles into practice in his life, making him an infectious optimist! It has worked for him, but could just as easily work for the rest of us! The book is an encouraging, happy thing to read in times where bad news seems to outweigh the good. I loved it! Collapse
