Distant Landscapes is an exhibition of plein air paintings created by Tennessee artist Brett Weaver. Weaver’s new work depicts the vast and unique landscapes of the Volunteer state. As a frequent traveler, he roams the country, seeking out the wide-open spaces that give balance and strength to his paintings. His travels bring new experiences and opportunities, while adding freshness and variety to his work. Chattanooga-based Shuptrine Fine Art Group, which represents the artist, will offer a selection of works for purchase in the Museum Store.
