Annual Children's Mental Health Awareness Celebration

Nashville Children's Mental Health Week Event is part of a national campaign to create awareness about the importance of good mental health. On Saturday, April 25, at the Nashville Zoo at Grassmere, the 12th Year celebration will kick off Children's Mental Health Week. The day of fun at the zoo, which last year attracted approximately 2,500 persons, includes face painting, visits with the animals, entertainment, storytelling, games, and booth after booth of information for parents and educators.
