Watkins Adult Community Education: Raku Clay

Beginner students will learn how to fire a natural gas fired raku kiln and discuss in depth practice of techniques used to enhance surface quality. Students will use a commercial raku clay body in conjunction with glazes formulated by the instructor and vessels will be wheel thrown forms.
