    Art. Politics. Dogs. Again!

GroundWorks Theatre is proud to announce a return engagement of the critically-lauded production of Lee Blessing's "Chesapeake," and a new partnership with the Boiler Room Theatre, Franklin's Professional Theatre.

Director Robert A. O'Connell and actor Jack E. Chambers will once again bring to the stage the story of a New York City performance artist, a firebrand conservative Southern politician, and the dog that unites their fates forever. The play touches on issues of art, faith, redemption, mortality, and the soul, as well as what it means to be human.
