Ann & Monroe Carell Family Trust Pied Piper Series presents Peter and the Wolf featuring Nashville Symphony and Giancarlo Guerrero, conductor.

Is there any better way to introduce children to the sound of an orchestra than Peter and the Wolf? Russian composer Sergei Prokofiev used the various instruments of the orchestra to represent the characters in this tale of a boy who outsmarts a hungry wolf. Under the direction of our charismatic Music Director Giancarlo Guerrero, the Nashville Symphony will conjure visions of a flighty bird, a plaintive duck, a nimble cat and, of course, the sharp-fanged wolf.
