Bank of America Pops Series presents Christopher Cross featuring Nashville Symphony and Albert-George Schram, conductor.

Christopher Cross virtually defined adult contemporary radio in the 1980s with such massive hits as "Sailing" and "Arthur's Theme (Best That You Can Do)," tunes that still echo in the popular consciousness today. In the years since, Cross' talent has only deepened and matured, building on his impressive legacy of heartfelt, finely crafted songs.

Note: This concert has officially been canceled and will not be rescheduled. The following event will be held in its place:

The Nashville Symphony is offering a free outdoor concert with pop icon Christopher Cross as a special gift to the Nashville community. The concert will take place on Nashville's Public Square, located directly in front of the Metro Courthouse. Click here for a map. Giancarlo Guerrero, Music Director of the Nashville Symphony, and Albert-George Schram, the Resident Conductor, will lead the orchestra in a first half of classical and popular favorites. Christopher Cross will join the orchestra on stage for the second half to perform his well known hits such as "Sailing," "Arthur's Theme" and more. Originally scheduled for three nights this weekend as part of the Bank of America Pops Series, tomorrow’s one-night free concert was made possible through fast action on the part of the Symphony and the city of Nashville, as well as the generosity of Christopher Cross, who is waiving his fee for the show.

Bring chairs or blankets, and come enjoy a warm evening of wonderful music with the Nashville Symphony.

PARKING: Thanks to the generosity of the Nashville Downtown Partnership and Metro Nashville Government, we will be offering FREE parking for this event at the Metro Courthouse/ Public Square Garage. Located directly under the Public Square, these parking spaces will be available on a first come, first served basis from 6:00pm-11:00pm tomorrow night.
