First Friday Sacred Soul Space: A Celebration of Candlemas

This monthly service is contemporary worship grounded in the Book of Common Prayer. Candlemas is the popular name for the feast of the presentation of the baby Jesus in the temple. The name comes from the tradition of blessing candles at the feast and carrying them in procession before the celebration of the Eucharist. This month the service features music with a medieval chant flavor by the Gallery Musicians and three liturgical dances performed by the Epiphany Dancers.
