    The Conservancy for the Parthenon and Centennial Parks presents the 2009 Parthenon Saturday Series, a four-week lecture series entitled Greek Myths:Their Enduring Legacy and Inspiration in Western Art.

    February 7: Greek Myths: Religion, Storytelling and Art presented by Dr. Barbara Tsakirgis, Vanderbilt University.
    February 14: Greek Myths in the Roman World: Athena Supported by the Roman She-Wolf presented by Dr. Barbara Tsakirgis, Vanderbilt University.
    February 21: Classical Mythology Meets Christianity: Pagan Imagery in Early Christian through Renaissance Art presented by Professor Martha Vines, The University of Alabama in Huntsville.
    February 28: Bernini and Beyond: The Masters Consider the Family of Zeus presented by Professor Martha Vines, The University of Alabama in Huntsville.

    The Conservancy for the Parthenon and Centennial Park is the non-profit support alliance which serves the community through stewardship and promotion of the Parthenon in Nashville.
