Jazz Band Concert

Lipscomb University's Jazz Band and Jazz Vocal Ensemble will perform on Tuesday, Feb. 17, in Shamblin Theatre on the Lipscomb campus. The general public is invited. The Jazz Band will perform works including "The Blues Walk" by Clifford Brown, "Peri's Scope" by Bill Evans, and "The Man I Love" by George & Ira Gershwin. Vocal pieces will include "Trickle Trickle", arrangement by Manhattan Transfer, "Cloudburst", a jazz standard recorded by Hendrix, Lambert and Ross, and "Dream" by Johnny Mercer. The groups will be performing a combined piece entitled "For All We Know" by Sam M. Lewis & J. Fred Coots, arranged by Dave Wolpe.
