    The Nashville Philharmonic Orchestra (NPO), a volunteer community orchestra under the direction of Chris Norton, Professor of Music and Director of Percussion Studies at Belmont University, will be offering a series of two concerts in celebration of its fifth anniversary. The concerts will feature a number of soloists. Kelly Corcoran, the founder of the NPO and the Assistant Director of the Nashville Symphony, will sing the solo soprano line on Samuel Barber's Knoxville Summer of 1915. Concerto for Two Violins in D Minor by Johann Sebastian Bach and Navarra for Two Violins and Orchestra, Opus 33 by Pablo de Sarasate will feature Rebecca Willie, concertmaster and founding member of the NPO and member of the Nashville Symphony, and Zeneba Bowers, Founder and Artistic Director of ALIAS Chamber Ensemble and Assistant Principle Second of the Nashville Symphony, on violin. Also on the program is Richard Wagner's Prelude to Die Meistersinger von Nurnberg.
