The Lipscomb University Department of Art Visiting Artist Program presents a lecture by artist Luke Aleckson on Thursday, March 26, in Ward Hall on the Lipscomb campus in Nashville. This lecture is free and open to the public. Aleckson currently serves as a gallery director at Denler Art Gallery and lecturer at Northwestern College in Minnesota. He has been awarded the Illinois Arts Council Artists Fellowship Award and the MFA Fellowship Award at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, among other honors. His works have shown in galleries throughout Tennessee, Illinois, Ohio and Minnesota.
