Sundays with Tennessee Rep: Acting for TV/Film

This workshop focuses on personality-driven acting for TV/film, because, by and large, in TV/film it is the actor's original personality that makes the scene or the character "click." Using short scenework and improvisation, we will work to remove any "acting" that covers up the personality of the performer. When the session concludes, participants will have a better understand of how to use their unique personalities to connect with the characters they portray, and how that originality will make the characters both real and interesting. Please bring a journal for minimal notes and personal thoughts. 3 hours.
