    The Nashville Jazz Workshop will present two concerts with jazz guitarist and arranger Anthony Wilson. Anthony Wilson is a renowned jazz guitarist, accomplished arranger, and member of Diana Krall's band. He has recorded six CD's as a leader, in both small and large group settings. Besides his work with Diana Krall, he is a member of the Clayton-Hamilton Jazz Orchestra and leads his own trio.

    The weekend concerts will showcase Anthony Wilson's talents as a guitarist and composer/arranger: For Friday's performance Anthony leads a quartet with Lori Mechem (piano), Roger Spencer (bass), and Marcus Finnie (drums). The Saturday performance features a nonet playing original arrangements from his large group recordings (Power of Nine, Adult Themes, Goat Hill Junket, Anthony Wilson).

    The weekend of activities is made possible through grants from the Tennessee Arts Commission and Southern Arts Federation in cooperation with the National Endowment for the Arts.
