An exhibition full of surprises, not only in subject matter, but in the use of materials like gold leafed hair, mysterious hovering particles in colorful fluid and bandages on symbolic limbs. Portraying materialized conversations between bodies, memories of abandoned objects, animal-like images on skin, the exhibition features photography, video and installation with fresh conceptual approaches. This show includes work from five artists currently working and residing in Nashville, two of them recent alumni of Watkins College of Art, Design & Film.

The artists are Ruth Zelanski, Laura Young, Stephanie Brooke West, Jennifer Campbell, and Ryan Hogan. Curated by Sabine Schlunk.

Helpful Information: This event is held in Gallery F. An opening reception will be held on March 21 from 6:00pm to 9:00pm with an experimental music performance by Lola at 7:00pm and 8:00pm. An artist talk will given on April 9 from 7:00pm to 9:00pm.
