The Cold War was a period of competition, tension and conflict short of full-scale war, characterized by mutual perceptions of hostile intention between Capitalist United States and Communist Soviet Union (USSR). We illustrate the challenges of the Cold War through stories of Civil Defense, Fort Campbell, Clarksville Base, the Berlin Wall and proxy wars.

Join us for a Cold War film series which kicks off April 18 during Rivers and Spires Festival.

Helpful Information: Children under age 14 must be accompanied by an adult at all times and in all areas of the Museum. Free parking for Museum visitors is available behind the Museum at the top of the hill off South Second Street. Sundays are free for everyone!
