From Clinton, Miss. to Nashville, Shelly Fairchild has been singing and writing music as long as she can remember. Some of her musical influences range from Madonna to Dolly Parton, Joni Mitchell to Janis Joplin, Elton John to Elvis, Aerosmith to Lauren Hill, Stevie Wonder to Patti Griffin. In 2003, she signed a record deal with Sony/BMG and released her first record with Columbia Records in May of 2005. Shelly has traveled with country artists like John Fogerty, Rascal Flatts, Keith Urban, David Allan Coe, Shooter Jennings, Tim McGraw, Wynonna, Travis Tritt and Martina McBride.

      Was surfing and saw this blog. I was at Lindsley for this show and it was great. Margaret Durante's powerful presence was terrific and Shelly really can rock it. Great experience.
