Local Art Exhibit: Kevin Bentley and Stacey Irvin

The Nashville Metro Arts Commission will host a Local Art Exhibit featuring Kevin Bentley and Stacey Irvin. Kevin Bentley's portraits are done in soft pastel on velour, canton paper and pastel board. Bentley's work, which is displayed in homes throughout Nashville and beyond, captures the essence of his subjects while remaining true to a realism type of portrait. Bentley is particularly fascinated by the variety and challenge of drawing the human face.

Stacey Irvin's photography highlights her experience of capturing the simple, yet most essential aspects of the human spirit. Irvin is inspired by the experience of connecting with and relating to people whose culture and daily lives are distinctly different from her own. She is particularly interested in people who live and work with a close connection to the land.

Please note: An Opening Reception will take place on Thursday, March 26 from 3:00pm-4:30pm. Light refreshments will be served.
