The Lipscomb University Guitar Ensemble is a classical guitar quartet made up of Lipscomb students, directed by Mark Godwin, one half of the Godwin-Thompson Duo, who have appeared on "Live in Studio C," on WPLN-FM. The ensemble plays classical works written for guitar and guitar arrangements of other types of music, from the Renaissance to modern. In the performance, the ensemble will play traditional and modern works by Leo Brouwer; Teleman, a Baroque composer; and Peter Maxwell Davies.
