IMPORTANT NOTE: THIS CONCERT IS BEING RESCHEDULED DUE TO WEATHER THAT IS EXPECTED IN NASHVILLE ON FRIEDAY NIGHT. MORE DETAILS TO FOLLOW. THE WKDF BIRTHDAY BASH IS STILL HAPPENING AS PLANNED AT THE WILDHORSE SALOON. SORRY FOR ANY INCONVENIENCE.

Universal Records South Recording Artist Phil Vassar will play a free, late night show titled “Concert for the Common Man” in front of the Hard Rock Café in downtown Nashville following the 103 WKDF Birthday Bash at the Wildhorse Saloon.

Acclaimed singer, songwriter and pianist Phil Vassar has a long list of hit songs that have earned him a number of accolades, including ACM Top New Male Vocalist of the Year, Billboard Country Songwriter of the Year and ASCAP Songwriter of the Year. His current CD “Prayer of a Common Man” features Top 5 hit “Love is a Beautiful Thing” and the title track along with “The World is a Mess” and “Let Me Love You Tonight.”

The concert stage will be set up at the foot of Broadway parallel to First Ave. The event, presented by NowPlayingNashville.com, is also sponsored by Hard Rock Café and 103 WKDF, and produced by the Nashville Convention & Visitors Bureau as part of the month’s Awesome April celebration.
