As a comedic actor with great versatility, Andy Dick has developed a successful career in both television and film. Dick starred as Matthew, the neurotic reporter, in NBC's hit ensemble comedy, Newsradio. This role has earned him enormous critical acclaim for his immense talent for both quick-witted and physical comedy. Dick's feature film releases include Walt Disney Pictures' Inspector Gadget, which is based on the animated television series.

      I did not enjoy this show. I expected a witty, funny man to entertain me. I understand AD wants to gear towards dirty, nasty angles but he just didn't do it w/ finesse and humor. I wish he'd take his... Expand

      I did not enjoy this show. I expected a witty, funny man to entertain me. I understand AD wants to gear towards dirty, nasty angles but he just didn't do it w/ finesse and humor. I wish he'd take his talent and natural shtick and add good material w/ jokes, anecdotes and do a really funny show. He has the basic ability but seems to be thumbing his nose at the op and daring someone to actually like him! It seems self destructive that he isn't making a concerted effort to reign in his talent and hone in on something that could work for him gaining a big following, large venue demand and big $. He's about half way there. Maybe he needs a writer? Nothing wrong w/ that. Just wrong to not seek it out when the stage has been provided. Collapse
