Add Review/CommentBuilt upon changing exhibitions and seasons, Saturday AM has fun activities for families and children of all ages every Saturday morning from 10am until 12:00pm. Drop by the studio to take part in a unique hands-on activity!
Featured activities are:
August 1 spEGGtacular: Visit the Fabergé exhibition in the Museum of Art and stop by the studio to make your own spEGGtacular creation!
August 8 Beautiful Butterflies: After examining the bugs and blooms all over Cheekwood, venture into the studio to make your own bright butterfly.
August 15 Sand-tastic! Stop by the studio to experiment with pattern and color mixing as we create sand prints! Check out the Tennessee Abstract Painters exhibition to see why we are inspired by Richard Feaster’s Dixon’s Pike.
August 22 Photo Fun!: After visiting Easton Selby’s exhibition in Temporary Contemporary, come by to work with photographs and create a photomontage.
August 29 Culinary Creations!: Your favorite food says a lot about you! Is it a secret family recipe, a treat for special occasions, or a simple snack? Learn about Chef Paul’s favorite recipe from the Pineapple Room. Join us as we explore where recipes come from and make a culinary creation inspired by your favorite dish!-
