    In conjunction with the June 23 release of his new album, Steve Wariner c.g.p., My Tribute to Chet Atkins, Grammy-winning artist Steve Wariner will host a benefit concert for The Chet Atkins Music Education Fund of The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee on July 7 at The Loveless Barn. The concert will be a live performance of his latest CD as well as some of his greatest hits.

    In addition, Steve Wariner has recorded a series of webisodes to introduce listeners to each track on his forthcoming CD. The clips can be found here, with new webisodes posted every few days leading up to the album’s release. In each webisode, Wariner relates the story behind the song, be it one that Chet recorded and made famous, or one of Wariner’s original tunes on the record. Occasionally he’ll demonstrate one of the guitar licks he plays in the song, and in each case viewers will hear a short preview of the featured track.

    The Chet Atkins Music Education Fund is dedicated to ensuring that there are always funds available to encourage promising students as they pursue musical training. The Fund supports programs that provide the earliest education for youngsters in Middle Tennessee and added enrichment for those wishing to pursue music as a career.

    Please note: Concert will be filmed without start/stop interruptions.

      Tickets: $100/VIP ticket, includes meet-and-greet reception prior to concert at 6:00pm and reserved seating; $35/ticket (general admission, open seating). Tickets on sale 5/22 at 10:00am.
