This musical comedy is the story of five of the 19 surviving Little Sisters of Hoboken, a one-time missionary order that ran a leper colony on an island south of France. When they discover that the cook (Sister Julia, Child of God) accidentally killed the remaining 52 convent residents, Mother Superior crafts a plan to raise money to bury the deceased and things get crazy when they decide to stage a variety show.
