Salvatore Palazzolo's artwork is on display in the Marly Berger Gallery at the Arts Center of Cannon County now through July 4. There will be an artist reception on Friday, May 22nd at 6:30pm. Everyone is invited to attend.

Born in 1909 in Detroit, Michigan, this lively 100-year-old visual artist grew up in San Francisco, California and attended Stanford University and the San Francisco School of Art and Watercolors under well known Carmel, Calif. artist, Stanley Wood.

Palazzolo began painting in his 20s and found beauty in objects that unobserving eyes would deem drab. Palazzolo says he loves old wooden fences, finds rich color in sordid looking factories, and can see the poetry in a blue scavenger car.
