    Hundreds of Pokemon video game players from across the southeast including top players from the Nashville area, along with costumed characters Pikachu, Chimchar, Turtwig, and Piplup; parents; friends; classmates and supporters will be on hand to lend their support to competitors in both the Junior (born in 1997 or later) and Senior (born in 1996 or earlier) divisions. The free family event will feature giant inflatables of popular Pokemon characters, dancing, free giveaways, and free video game character downloads. This Saturday, the Pokemon Video Game Competition will stop in Nashville for the sixth and final leg of our tour across the country in order to find the best Pokemon players in the US to battle other top players from around the globe this August at the World Championships. The top two Nashville winners from each age division (Juniors and Seniors) will win a trip to play in the Pokemon Video Game National Championships in St. Louis on June 27 and 28.
