TOKENS presents “Stories We Live By”, featuring Buddy Greene, Jeff Taylor, The Most Outstanding Horeb Mountain Boys, Barbara Brown Taylor, Hubert Locke, and more to be announced in Alumni Auditorium on the Lipscomb University campus.
TOKENS, the brainchild of Lee C. Camp, professor of Christian Ethics at Lipscomb University, is a live old-time radio show performed at the intersection of music and theology. After attending a live recording of Prairie Home Companion at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium, Camp was struck: what if we did a theological variety show? What if we created a space where storytelling, music, and even humor can intermingle? Soon enough, the idea turned into a reality with the first show taking place before a live studio audience in February of 2008.
