National Zoo Keeper Week

National Zoo Keeper Week is here again! Come recognize the hardwork and dedication of our animal management staff, and learn more about the ins and outs of keeper life.

If you visit the zoo during July 19 - 25, be sure to wish the keepers a happy National Zoo Keeper Week! Look for displays around the zoo that highlight all the different aspects of zoo keeping, or experience our Keeper Talks to get the inside scoop on the animals. 

The week culminates at the Zoo’s Ice Day Celebration. Visit the Dunk-A-Keeper booth and try your best to knock one of the keepers with water. Dunk-A-Keeper is $1 per ball, with proceeds benefiting continuing keeper education and conservation projects.
