Nashville Swim League 2009 City Meet Championship

Come out to cheer for your favorite young swimmer! The Nashville Swim League 2009 City Meet Championship will be held at Centennial Sportsplex which features two 25-yard, 8-lane pools with Colorado Electronic Timing Systems, electronic scoreboards and Hy-tek Meet Manager computer scoring.

Team scoring will be by division. City Meet Championship Trophies will be awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places in each division in both 10 and under on Saturday and overall standings on Sunday. Individual scoring will be by age group for novice and open categories. Individual points are accumulated within the novice and open categories separately. There are no crossover points in the City Meet. Individual high point and 4 runner-up trophies will be awarded to each age group by gender in the open and novice categories. Points will be awarded for first through eighth place and will be as follows 9-7-6-5-4-3-2-1. Relays score double points. Medals will be awarded for places one through eight, and ribbons for places nine through sixteen, in relay and individual events.

Friday, July 17, Meet Starts 2:00pm for 6 & under swimmers; Saturday, July 18, Meet Starts 9:00am for 8 & under, 9-10 year old swimmers; Sunday, July 19, Meet Starts 9:00am for 11-12, 13-14, 15-18 year old swimmers.
