Voted Best New Event by NFocus magazine last year, Authors in the Round returns to War Memorial. Featuring 40 authors from across the nation--who join guests for a seated dinner--this evening of great books and sparkling conversation kicks off the annual Southern Festival of Books: A Celebration of the Written Word. Authors confirmed to participate include Roy Blount, Jr., John Carter Cash, Bruce Feiler, Robert Hicks, Jill McCorkle and Kathryn Stockett. John Seigenthaler from NPT's "A Word on Words" hosts the second annual event.
