This groundbreaking concert, which will explore the strong links between classical music and American roots music, features a stellar list of guest performers, including Alison Brown, Bnajo; Sam Bush, Mandolin; Jerry Douglas, Dobro; Byron House, Bass; Buddy Miller, Guitar; Karen Parks, Vocals and Abigail Washburn, Vocals. They will join the orchestra, led by Resident Conductor Albert-George Schram, to honor the rich weave of our country’s musical traditions ... everything from blues and gospel to Aaron Copland and George Gershwin.

Slated for Wednesday, September 16 through Saturday, September 19, the 10th Annual Americana Festival and Conference will offer daily seminars, panels and networking opportunities at the Nashville Convention Center. Each evening brings more than 80 stacked Americana showcases to key venues throughout Nashville.
