    World-renowned negotiation expert, author, and Lipscomb University president Dr. L. Randolph Lowry will present Business Negotiation in a Turbulent Environment, Tuesday, August 4, as the third installment of the Lipscomb University School of Executive Education's Summer Executive Series. This all-day workshop will also include a panel of three of Nashville's most accomplished negotiators: Steve Groom, vice president and deputy general counsel of corrections corporation of America; Tony Giarratana, president of Giarratana Development Inc.; and Janet Miller, Chief economic development and marketing officer of the Nashville Chamber of Commerce. Many topics will be covered in the workshop such as understanding the dynamics of negotiation, learning how to develop and employ a strategy for each negotiation, becoming more proficient in the management and control of the negotiation process, and increasing confidence in negotiation skills.
